Tour overview

Discover the beauty of Cambodia at a comfortable pace on a personalized full-day private experience with Angkor Transport Services. Designed for senior travelers, guests who prefer less walking, families with different mobility needs, and travelers seeking a more relaxed sightseeing experience, this tour prioritizes comfort, flexibility, and thoughtful planning. Enjoy selected cultural highlights around Siem Reap, take breaks when needed, and explore without the pressure of keeping up with a large group. Your itinerary can be adjusted according to your interests, walking ability, energy level, and preferred pace. With private transportation, a carefully planned route, and the option of a licensed English-speaking guide, ATS aims to make your Cambodian experience more comfortable and enjoyable. Our promise: Safe, Reliable, Comfortable — with a journey planned around you. Important: This is a comfort-focused tour, not automatically a fully wheelchair-accessible tour. Accessibility depends on the specific vehicle, attractions, pathways, and assistance arrangements confirmed before booking.

Detailed itinerary

The following is a proposed relaxed Angkor-area itinerary. The final route should be agreed upon with the guest after discussing mobility requirements and preferred attractions.

8:00 AM — Personalized hotel pickup

Your driver will meet you at your hotel or agreed pickup point in Siem Reap. Before departure, confirm any mobility aids, preferred seating arrangements, walking limitations, and assistance needs. The driver will explain the planned route and expected journey times. Travel in a private air-conditioned vehicle, with reasonable time for getting in and out, rest stops, and adjustments to the day’s schedule. Comfort focus: No large tour groups, no unnecessary rushing, and no additional stops without your agreement.

8:45 AM — Discover Angkor Wat at a relaxed pace

Begin with a visit to Angkor Wat, one of Cambodia’s most celebrated cultural landmarks. Enjoy the impressive temple exterior, views across the surrounding grounds, and opportunities to appreciate the architecture and history. Depending on your mobility and the site’s current conditions, your visit may focus on accessible approaches and suitable viewing areas rather than extensive walking through the complex. Your guide, if selected, can explain the temple’s history and symbolism while allowing time to sit, rest, and take photographs. Suggested duration: 60–90 minutes, adjustable to your comfort level. Some areas have uneven stone surfaces, steps, and long walking distances. Entry to upper temple levels should not be assumed.

10:30 AM — Scenic drive through Angkor Thom

Continue by vehicle toward Angkor Thom, the historic city known for its monumental gates and impressive Khmer architecture. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Angkor area, with a planned stop at a suitable viewpoint if road access and parking allow. Depending on your interests and mobility, your driver or guide can explain the history of the ancient city without requiring you to walk through every monument. Comfort focus: Prioritize sightseeing from the vehicle and short, optional walks rather than a demanding walking itinerary.

11:00 AM — Optional visit to Bayon Temple

If suitable for your mobility needs, visit Bayon Temple to admire its famous carved stone faces. Your guide can introduce the temple’s architectural details and historical background. Guests who prefer limited walking can enjoy a shorter visit or remain with the driver at a suitable agreed location. The inner temple areas include steps and uneven surfaces, so a full exploration may not be suitable for everyone. Suggested duration: 30–45 minutes, with the option to shorten or skip this stop.

12:00 PM — Comfortable lunch and rest break

Enjoy lunch at a restaurant selected according to your preferences and access requirements. Where possible, ATS can request convenient parking, seating with a backrest, shade or air-conditioning, and a restroom that meets your needs. This break also provides time to rest before the afternoon activities. Lunch is not included unless stated in the selected package. Please tell ATS about dietary restrictions and any specific restroom or seating requirements before booking.

1:30 PM — Choose a relaxed cultural experience

Spend the afternoon enjoying a cultural or scenic activity selected to suit your interests and comfort level. Depending on availability and your preferences, options may include: — A short visit to a suitable cultural attraction with manageable walking. — A relaxed stop at a peaceful garden or scenic location. — A local craft demonstration with seating available. — A comfortable café stop or time to rest (Personal expenses). The selected activity should be confirmed before booking. ATS should not promise step-free access, accessible toilets, or seating at a venue until these details have been checked.

2:45 PM — Flexible final sightseeing stop

If you still feel comfortable, enjoy one final short sightseeing stop or photography opportunity. Alternatively, use this time for an additional rest break or begin the return journey early. There is no requirement to complete every optional activity. The goal is to finish the day feeling comfortable rather than exhausted.

3:30–4:30 PM — Return to your hotel

Travel back to your hotel or agreed drop-off point in Siem Reap. Your driver can allow extra time for exiting the vehicle and returning to your accommodation. The day concludes with a flexible, personalized experience shaped around your needs and preferences. All times are estimates. Attractions, stops, and walking distances should be adjusted to the guest’s requirements and confirmed access conditions. The itinerary can be shortened or modified at the guest’s request.
